On Wednesday the 14th of September an excursion to the the Peenemuende Historical Technical Museum where the first rocket V-2 which further led to the construction of American Saturn type rockets was launched up to 100 km above the ground in 1942.
A visit to nearby Max-Planck Institute for Plasma Physics with the Stellarator Wandelstein-7X – now the largest in the world device for fusion experiments may also be arranged for a group of participants (this facility has limited visit capacity).
