The Szczecin Cosmology Group at the Institute of Physics of the University of Szczecin ( are looking for candidates for a Ph.D. position in phenomenology of quantum gravity, black hole thermodynamics, and holography.

The research will focus on some specific topics like generalized uncertainty principle (GUP), generalized extended uncertainty principle (GEUP), nonextensive entropies applied to black holes and cosmological horizons (holography), observational bounds on the effects of quantum gravity. Candidates with good theoretical background in gravity, cosmology, and quantum field theory are welcome, though some numerical/observational expertise is also expected. The work will be under the supervision of prof. M.P. Dąbrowski and co-supervision of Dr. H. Gohar.
